I was contacted by some people working on a PBS/Frontline documentary about "AIDS in Black America" who were interested in using
this photograph of a mural in my neighborhood from an older post on this blog.
I, alas, did not have the
high-resolution image they needed ~ so I went out to re-shoot the mural on this cool rainy Sunday

Other things in the neighborhood caught my eye along the way, especially the hole in the wall that
SCRATCHbread sells its wares out of - including the "Bourbon Wheat" loaf that I brought home - still warm, amazingly delicious.
Arriving at home I noticed that the new restaurant across the street,
Alice's Arbor, is almost ready to open.
