Favorite Books of 2019

I had read Mason & Dixon by Thomas Pynchon (one of my very favorite books, ever) and Long Day's Journey Into Night by Louis-Ferdinand Celine previously. Repeated pleasures.

Upon finishing The Overstory by Richard Powers I was compelled to read it again. It's that good. (And then I followed it up with an earlier novel by Powers - The Gold Bug Variations - also truly brilliant!)
