Snow In Central Park

The first real snow cascaded outside our Harlem apartment windows.
Tammy and I took the bus down Fifth Avenue, got off at 66th Street, and headed into Central Park.

and on fifth avenue
the wind it gripped us without mercy
and in our lives it leaves a mark

sweet blessings on the day
we grapped our coats and made our way
to discover snow in Cenral Park

and I was lost in the city of light
and I was flying away from it all
and I was dust on the edge of a dream

I look into your eyes
and see the grey Dakota building
slowing dissolving into dark

sweet blessings on this night

Listen the snow is falling over town
Listen the snow is falling everywhere
Between Empire State Building
And between Trafalgar Square
Listen the snow is falling over town
Listen the snow is falling over town
Listen the snow is falling everywhere
Between your bed and mine
Between your head and my mind
Listen the snow is falling over town
Between Tokyo and Paris
Between London and Dallas
Between your God and mine
Listen the snow is falling everywhere
Snow dream
Snow fall
Snow fly
Listen

The photos are beautiful.
Living in So Cal since 1959, I have no reference point for living in such cold day after day. I don't like the cold!
