An Hour WIth Ludwig van Beethoven

It’s who ya know in this town. 

Our long association with Burning Man has garnered some wonderful connections over the years, one of which is with some friends who live near Columbia University, naming thier domicile Camp Goldberg. Thanks to our friends’ numerous connections in the classical music world, we’ve enjoyed dozens of amazing house concerts in their spacious pre-war apartment complete with its Steinway baby grand piano.

Most recently, we had the privilege of sitting only a few feet away from a masterful performance of Ludwig van Beethoven's “Diabelli Variations” — the story of their creation is fascinating — as performed by noted pianist Yael Weiss.
